An Arborist (also called a Tree Surgeon) is a trained professional, who is an expert in the needs and nature of trees. Arborists are trained in maintaining tree health, and know how to prune and care for your trees. We can safely resolve the problems you are having with your trees, for example; if they are growing over your roof, if branches are breaking off, if the tree is dying, and any other issues homeowners usually can’t solve on their own. An Arborist can give you direction on the best way to care for your trees, and has the skills to get into the tree and fix these issues.
What is an ISA Certified Arborist?
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees through research, technology, and education. The Certified Arborist credential identifies professional arborists who have a minimum of three years’ full-time experience working in the professional tree care industry and who have passed an extensive examination covering all facets of arboriculture. After credential is awarded , to maintain it, these professionals must continue their development and adhere to an established Code of Ethics.
